Giacomo Perego, a Pauline priest since 1998 and a biblicist, received his doctorate in Bibliographical Sciences at the Ecole Biblique et Archéologique Française in Jerusalem with a thesis on the Gospel of Mark. He was a lecturer at the CICS (International Center of Social Communication) of the Pontifical Gregorian University and at the ITVC (Institute of Theology of Consecrated Life) of the Pontifical Lateran University. Former editorial director of San Paolo, he is currently coordinator of the San Paolo Biblical Center.

José Cristo Rey García Paredes, a Claretian missionary, taught dogmatic theology in Madrid, Spain and Curitiba, Brazil. He currently continues to teach as professor emeritus at Queen of Apostles School (Madrid, Spain), as well as at the Taiyuan Formation Center (Shanxi, China) and at the Sanyasa Institute of Consecrated Life in Bangalore, India. Among the books he has written, some of the most recent are: La vita consacrata è verbo non sostantivo. Un nuovo paradigma per la vita consacrata, 2019; Otra comunidad es posible bajo el liderazgo del Espíritu, 2018; Por amor a la Belleza divina: una lectura actual de “Vita Consecrata”, 2017; Cómplices del Espíritu: el nuevo paradigma de la Misión, 2014.

Fr. Rossano Sala is a Professor of Pastoral Work among Youth at the Pontifical Salesian University, Rome, and Director of the periodical Notes on Pastoral Work with Youth. On 17 November 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Special Secretary for the XV Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, entitled Young People, Faith and Vocational Discernment (sala@unisal.it). On 24 May 2019 the Holy Father appointed him consultor of the General Secretariat of the Synod for the Pan-Amazon Region (Rome, October 2019).

Lidia Maggi, Biblicist and Baptist pastor, has been designated by the Baptist Church to take on ministry as an itinerant pastor. She travels between churches and cultural centers involved in Biblical formation and evangelization initiatives. Currently, she lives in Dumenza (a province of Varese), in a large house, where as a pastoral couple, she and her husband offer hospitality to persons in crisis or to those who are simply searching and desire to confront themselves. She writes and collaborates with various Protestant and Catholic periodicals on the topics of Scripture and ecumenical and interreligious dialogue.She published the book Fare strada con le Scritture (2017) with the Paoline.

Giovan Battista Brunori, a professional journalist, is Rai2’s Deputy Editor of Foreign News and a reporter who covers the Vatican for the RAI network [Italy’s national public broadcasting company]. Elected to the Order of Journalists for Italy’s Lazio region in 2013, he served as President of its Board of Auditors from 2013-2017. Brunori received the Ilaria Alpi Television Journalism Award in 1998 and the European Personality Award in 2005. He is President of the Volunteer Association The Pomegranate: Solidarity in the Cultural Environment. Brunori is the author of the book Benedict XVI: The Faith and Prophecy of the First Pope Emeritus in History (FSP Editions 2017), which was translated into Spanish.
